The dolphins appeared in front of "Nimrod III", a diver-ship which departs from Cairns.

My old friend from preschool and the one who taught me to dive in Thailand.

Here we are on one of our dives. The trip lasted 5 days with 3-4 dives a day. The last day you leave the ship sail in a rubber dinghy to "Lizard Island" and an aeroplane takes you back to Cairns.

Unfortunally the viewfinder was cheating so this is why the focus is not directly on the person or object I wanted.

The real pictues are quite more blue shaded than you can see here. I had to manipulate with the colours a lot to make them look better.

Lars and I didn´t want to dive the same place as the rest of the guests and this is what came out of it.
Suddenly this creature came "flying" out of nowhere with graceful wingstrokes like in slowmotion.

We measured it to be about 10 feet, wingtip to wingtip.

Thank God that this animal only eats plankton.
